Hughenden Park

This is a glorious time of year in our Chiltern beechwoods.  Now is the time for walking as vistas are revealed and the ground turns golden with fallen leaves. Enjoy some clear sunny days and follow some of the myriad of footpaths over the hills. Or take a stroll from the
door through the beechwoods to Great Hampden, past the cricket pitch and to the village pub to enjoy a pint.

If you fancy mushroom hunting, there’s plenty of scope and many fields and hillsides to search.  The Bucks Fungus Society stages a recognition event at Aylesbury Museum in the Autumn.
